In a bold role reversal that’s resonating with thousands of employees, a candidate didn’t just reject a job offer from a major Indian MNC, he told the recruiter he had personally “blacklisted" the company.

The incident, shared on Reddit, has struck a massive nerve with professionals frustrated by toxic work cultures. According to the Redditor, a recruiter from an Indian multinational company in the NBFC sector reached out saying his profile was a perfect match for a role. Instead of politely declining, the candidate delivered a shocking response, “I said I have Blacklisted YOUR Organisation. I have no interest in working with such an organisation, please don’t reach out again."

He then laughed and hung up the call.

Why He Blacklisted the MNC?

The man had previously worked with the company as a consultant and came away with a terrible experience. He alleged- extremely poor work-life balance, no proper processes or SOPs. Everything ran on “jugaad" and managers avoided giving anything in writing to escape accountability.

He described the company as “one of the sh*ttiest in terms of WLB, work culture, and other basic expectations."

After the call, the Redditor admitted his reaction might have been a bit “kiddish" or “meaningless," but added, “Turning down an organisation, calling it a Blacklisted company in the recruiter’s face felt amazing…felt satisfying and relieving."

He even warned that if they emailed him, he was ready to send a strongly worded complaint that would “make the CEO cry."

Internet Reacts

The post has exploded online, with hundreds of comments from people celebrating the power move, “Finally, employees are fighting back!"

Another user wrote, “This is the energy we all need in 2026." with another chiming in with a sense of frustration, “Recruiters ghosting and lowballing candidates for years…karma is delicious."

Many shared similar stories of toxic MNCs in the banking, fintech, and NBFC space known for brutal hours and chaotic processes.

Iran’s Defiant Pause: Mojtava Khamenei Says Ceasefire Is Only a Tactical Halt

Mojtava Khamenei, the Iranian Supreme Leader, has signalled a bold yet cautious stance ahead of the peace talks slated for Islamabad. While publicly declaring that Iran does not crave war, Mojtava Khamenei made it clear that the recent ceasefire is framed merely as a temporary pause, not an end to hostilities. In a televised address delivered hours before the American delegation led by Vice President JD Vance landed in Pakistan, Mojtava Khamenei invoked the memory of his late father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, promising revenge for the February 28 strike that killed him. The speech aimed to bolster morale within Iran, especially among the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, while simultaneously reminding the United States that Tehran will only negotiate on its own terms. Key leverage points such as the Strait of Hormuz, regional proxies, and missile capabilities were highlighted as bargaining chips. Pakistan’s hosting role is downplayed by Iranian officials, though Islamabad has its own stakes in ensuring uninterrupted oil flows and tapping potential reconstruction contracts. The overall tone suggests a long‑haul negotiation process, where strategic gains are prioritized over any swift de‑escalation. This article expands on these developments, weaving in personal observations and everyday Indian context to illustrate how the unfolding diplomatic dance could affect regional stability and everyday life across the subcontinent.
